When you participate in our audience surveys or panels

If you choose to participate as an audience representative in one of our film surveys or choose to participate in our audience panel, we collect the following personal data:

Your responses and input in surveys and panels

Information about your film interests and cinema/film-viewing habits

Other data relevant to the specific project

We anonymise your information in relation to anyone other than our own researchers and delete it no later than one year after completion of the film project for which the information was used.

You may withdraw from a survey or panel at any time. If you no longer wish to participate in a survey or panel, we will delete your information.

Otherwise, we will delete your information when the survey has been completed or the panel has been concluded.

To provide you with targeted marketing

We want to ensure that our marketing, including our online advertising and communications with you regarding film projects for which we are seeking test audiences, is relevant to you.

We may therefore combine and analyse the personal data we hold about you, including information about your film preferences, cinema habits, browsing habits and search settings when you use our website, in order to determine whether there are film projects that may be of interest to you. This allows us to tailor our marketing to you so that you receive offers that are relevant to you.

Our marketing includes, among other things, advertising on social media, and emails offering you the opportunity to participate as a test audience member in our surveys.

Who we share your personal data with

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, nor do we transfer your personal data to third countries.

Our website is hosted by Dandomain, which acts as our data processor. All personal data that you provide through our website will be stored in Dandomain’s data centres.

We use external companies as service providers in order to provide our services as effectively as possible. These external service providers act as data processors and, in certain cases, process personal data in connection with the services they provide to us. Our data processors process personal data only in accordance with our instructions and in compliance with the legal requirements applicable to data processors.

We have entered into data processing agreements with our data processors, which provide assurance that they comply with the applicable rules governing the protection of your personal data.

Retention of your information

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Unless there are specific reasons for retaining the information for a longer period, personal data provided in connection with audience surveys or panel participation will be retained for a maximum of one year following your most recent participation.

If you want to participate in a competition, your personal data will be retained until the competition has ended. If you withdraw your consent, the information will be deleted.
